Common Questions
Track Day FAQ
Can I bring my own rental supercar to the track?
Most rental companies do NOT allow their vehicles on track. You would need explicit written permission from the rental company, and they typically require additional track day insurance. Dubai Autodrome offers their own fleet of supercars for track experiences which is the recommended option.
What happens if I damage a car during a track day?
If you're using Dubai Autodrome's own vehicles, damage is typically covered by their track day insurance (subject to excess). For private vehicles, you're responsible for all damage. This is why rental cars are generally not permitted.
Do I need racing experience?
No prior experience needed for most track day packages. You'll receive a full safety briefing and instruction. Professional instructors are available for those who want coaching. The Club Circuit is ideal for beginners.
Can I do a hot lap as a passenger?
Yes! Dubai Autodrome offers passenger hot lap experiences where a professional driver takes you around the circuit at high speed. It's a great way to experience the track without driving yourself. Prices start from AED 500.
What's the best time of year for track days?
October to April offers the most comfortable temperatures. Summer track days are available but typically scheduled for early morning or evening to avoid peak heat. Night sessions under floodlights are popular during summer months.
Is there a speed limit on track?
No speed limit on the main circuit during track sessions - that's the whole point! However, strict pit lane limits apply (typically 60 km/h), and you must follow all flag signals and marshal instructions.
